Everything in your life is designed to grow your soul–to teach you a new skill, uncover a hidden strength, or resolve an ancient resentment. Embrace what is right before you, and listen within for direction as you move through it.
Action to take: Meditation supports your being “tuned in” and connects you with your intuition. Spend 5 to 20 minutes each day to practice listening during your meditation time.
~ Jane Elizabeth
I recently experienced a crisis of faith which brought me to my knees. I forgot the truth and was consumed in the illusion, with my emotions leading the charge. Many times I have visited this “neighborhood” in my life. I was doubting everything and sinking lower and lower.
There are core issues in our lives and patterns that surface from our subconscious that can blind-side us and have us question everything, including the question of “Where is God in all this?” After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I took a step back and observed myself and the circumstances unfolding. Jane Elizabeth Hart teaches that you cannot solve a problem on the level of the problem. So, I knew it was time to meditate, go within and re-connect with my Source. That’s the place in which the truth is remembered that God is everywhere present, in all situations. I realized that what was coming up for me was an opportunity to forgive and heal on a deeper level, to find a deeper love and inner strength. This is all part of the process on the spiritual path.
Meditation is one of the most powerful tools listed in Jane Hart’s book Spiritual Power Tools. She says meditation is the “avenue to Universal Wisdom and the power that frees our souls.” So, when in doubt, go within.
Remember this… Meditation helps us get back on track when things are out of whack. For a spiritual boost, watch Jane Elizabeth’s accompanying video “Meditate Every Day to Solve Everyday Problems.”
